      • Whether you read the Bible, the Torah, the Koran, the Bhagavad Gita, or the Sutras there is a God-shaped hole in each and every one of us that desires to be filled.

"When you begin to touch your heart or let your heart be touched, you begin to discover that it's bottomless, that it doesn't have any resolution, that this heart is huge, vast, and limitless. You begin to discover how much warmth and gentleness is there, as well as how much space." --  Pema Chodron (Pim-uh ChOE-drone)

          Motivation & Accountability

One of the hardest parts of my personal recovery was staying motivated to make positive changes in my life, and to keep track of my actions so I could stay accountable to myself.

I had friends and family to talk to and bounce ideas off of, true.

However, they often didn’t have any knowledge or interest in what I was working on, and if they didn’t want to see me struggle their advice would be, “just take it easy.” If they did have the knowledge they were still busy living their own life-- it felt selfish to recruit them as my personal coach.

I started to just keep it all to myself. Not only was this lonely, I would also forget steps I had planned to take, or procrastinate the uncomfortable, scary ones. This not only robbed me of effectiveness and efficiency, it stole my motivation and left me with cold, empty tasks I “should” do.

I want to be the person who is there for you! The guy to help you get really clear about how you want to feel, then help you to  create action steps to get there, and make sure you are following through on your plans.
